The location is exceptional – just 40 metres from the steps leading directly to the small beach at Port d'Andratx. From here, there is easy access to the clear waters of the Mediterranean, and the beach quickly becomes a natural gathering place for both a refreshing morning dip and quiet afternoons by the sea. Montauroux offers everything you associate with Provence at its best: small squares with cafés where life is lived with a glass of wine or a café au lait, lively markets with fresh produce, cosy restaurants and good shopping. The atmosphere is both authentic and welcoming, and the village is an ideal base for exploring the area – from the coastal towns of Cannes and Nice to the tranquil mountain landscapes of the hinterland.
